Why I Photograph Pets
Before photography, I spent years working in vet clinics and animal cruelty investigations. I’ve handled animals in every state—nervous, wild, calm, chaotic—and I bring that experience into every session. I understand behaviour, I move at their pace, and I never force a shot.
We’ll choose a location together that suits your pet best—whether that’s your backyard, a quiet trail, or their favourite park. The goal isn’t to make them pose—it’s to capture who they are and the bond you share. Some of the best moments are the unplanned ones: nose boops, head tilts, muddy paws, and all.
You’re welcome to join in for a few frames too. These sessions are about your connection, and giving you something to hold onto long after the fur has gone grey.
